SEMA is a Singida based Non-Governmental Organization which strives to fight poverty and environmental degradation in the rural areas of the poor and marginalized communities. It was registered under the Societies Ordinance Cap. 337 on the 10th March 1998. The organization was also awarded a Certificate of Compliance No. 1594 for non-Governmental organizations under Act 2002, section 11(3) of No 24 of 2002 on 9 March 2006. SEMA’s Vision is to see a socially and economically empowered society able to manage its environment sustainably.
